Letter: Respecting military service

Once long ago, as a young U.S. Army Signal Corps officer, I was deployed to South Korea and then chosen to serve there as a company commander. I did nothing heroic, but I was willing and able to serve. The same is true of Command Sgt. Major Tim Walz and Cpl. J.D. Vance. I respect both and thank them for their service.
