What will happen with K-12 education funding, including the Base Student Allocation (BSA)? How about classroom sizes?
What are the potential responses to the court decision ruling unconstitutional Alaska’s allotments for homeschooling? What is the story on school closures?
These questions affect thousands of children and their families, including those on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER). Along with Anchorage School Board Vice President Carl Jacobs, I am co-hosting an education town hall and pizza party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Aurora Elementary School at 5085 10th St.
I encourage people to come enjoy pizza and learn more about these critical issues.
Attendees must have base access.
I look forward to seeing you.
