OPINION: The recent sexual abuse charges against a prominent Alaska storyteller were a heavy blow to our community, but that means the work needs to move forward, not stop.
Positive outcomes can come from racial dialogue, and by talking openly and compassionately, with incredible patience, it will be possible to improve racial equity in Alaska.
