OPINION: Senate Bill 21 does not pass the constitutional fiduciary obligation of elected officials responsible for setting the selling price of Alaska's oil. It's my constitutional duty to voice my opinion against it, and I urge my fellow citizens to vote yes on Proposition 1.
OPINION: Gov. Sean Parnell's proposed oil tax cut, HB 110, amounts to a giveaway. While evidence mounts that Alaska's oil taxes need to be adjusted, it also mounts that HB 110 is not the solution.
Gov. Sean Parnell has indicated that he intends to veto a significant number of projects in this year's capital budget. That would be a mistake.
