We all have a right to our religious beliefs, but this does not give us the right to use our religion to harm others.
The campaign against Justice Carney is a blatant attempt to impose the narrow view of the few at the expense of the solid foundation of the law.
We pray that he stops misusing the Christian faith as he did this week.
OPINION: Strongly held religious beliefs do not trump civil rights, and if a business is to be open to the public, it must be open to all of the public.
OPINION: For people of faith, there should be no question that the golden rule applies equally to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members of the Anchorage community. The equal rights ordinance that covers sexual orientation is good work, and can be amended to acknowledge religious liberty.
