OPINION: Alaska should stop wasting money on Space Pork Kodiak. It has sat rusting at Narrow Cape for sixteen years, never breaking even, soaking up handouts and providing minimal returns to our community and our state.

Launch complex gobbles money but gives Alaskans little in return

Imagine a school district asking the state for money to build a new high school when they cannot prove any students will attend. "Build it and they will come!" the district claims.
