OPINION: Pedestrian culture is integral to a vibrant city, and it's the responsibility of our city to design city streets in a way that supports pedestrians at least as much as automobiles.
OPINION: Alaska Dispatch News coverage fell short in describing the goals of PARKing Day intervention here in Anchorage. Our goal was not to increase the open space in Anchorage, but to showcase creative ways that urban space could be used.
