Clad in colorful attire, waving rainbow flags and sharing messages of positivity and inclusion, Anchorage Pride Parade participants marched around the Delaney Park Strip on Saturday as crowds of spectators cheered them on.
Returning after a three-year absence, the Pride Parade was hosted by the Alaskans Together Foundation. The celebration of the LGBTQIA2S+ community continued Saturday afternoon with a Celebrate Pride event on the Park Strip featuring performances, vendors and food trucks, and more Pride festivities were scheduled for Saturday night around Anchorage.
