Dedicated skiers braved the cold Sunday as the first race in the AMH (Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking) Anchorage Cup Citizen Races kicked off at Kincaid Park.

The sprint relay was the first in a series of seven races sponsored by the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage, which are open to skiers of all ages and ability levels. You can register for the races online.
