Halloween-themed pistol party offers live-fire training for the zombie apocalypse

The Alaska Gun School held a live-fire Zombie Pistol Party at Birchwood Recreation and Shooting Park on Saturday, offering shooters a fun chance to hone their skills in the (unlikely) event of a zombie apocalypse.

The event featured two shooting scenarios: "The Hallway of Horrors" and "The Zombie Horde," and featured zombie heads filled with exploding goop. Unfortunately, the cold weather prevented the goop from exploding.

The shooters were scored on the number of targets hit and their time.
