The Anchorage Wolverines will face the Minnesota Wilderness in the second round of the North American Hockey League playoff series, starting Friday at Ben Boeke Arena in Anchorage.
The No. 3 seeded Wolverines advanced to the Midwest Division Finals by sweeping the Springfield Jr. Blues 3-0 with three road wins.

The Wilderness, seeded No. 4, stunned the top-seeded Fairbanks Ice Dogs 5-1 on Sunday to take a 3-2 series win and advance to play the Wolverines in the Robertson Cup playoffs. The Wilderness defeated Fairbanks 3-0 on Saturday to force a deciding game 5 on Sunday.
The Wolverines will host games 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday at Ben Boeke Arena, with the puck set to drop at 7 p.m. Depending on the outcome of those first two games, Anchorage may host a third game Sunday, May 8, which would start at 5 p.m.
