Season tickets for the inaugural season of the Anchorage Wolverines junior hockey team go on sale Tuesday at noon.
The Wolverines are Alaska’s third team in the North American Hockey League, a Tier II league for hockey players under the age of 21.
Tickets for the 28-game regular season are $500 and can be purchased at anchoragewolverines.com. For another $100 you can pick your seat; upgraded ticket holders will select their seats in the order purchases were made.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs and Kenai River Brown Bears were among 27 teams in the NAHL last season, and the Wolverines are one of four expansion teams joining the league in the 2021-22 season.
They intend to play their games at Sullivan Arena, which is still being used as a homeless shelter. If Sullivan isn’t available by the time the season opens in October, home games will be at Ben Boeke Ice Arena.
