Jack Perkins and Jack Baker won their singles matches in straight sets Friday to lead the South Wovlerines past Eagle River in a season-opening Cook Inlet Conference tennis match at the South High courts.
Perkins lost one game in a 6-1, 6-0 win over Korben Sender, while Baker pulled off a 6-4, 6-4 win over Charlie Wallace.
