As high school hockey begins 2nd week of play, Dimond and Chugiak are only unbeaten teams

The high school hockey season isn’t yet two weeks old, but already there’s a big game on tap in the Cook Inlet Conference.

Chugiak and Dimond, the only undefeated teams in the seven-team conference, are scheduled to meet Wednesday night at Ben Boeke. Both are 2-0.

If the first week of play is any indication, a close game could be in store. Four of last week’s six games were decided by one goal.
