The Alaska Aces on Tuesday announced they have signed a rookie forward from Division I Sacred Heart.
Ben Lake, 25, heads north after four seasons of college hockey.
Lake, a 5-foot-11, 170-pounder, last season furnished the Pioneers 9-15—24 totals and a plus-1 rating in 38 games, and ranked third on the team in points. He led Sacred Heart with two short-handed goals.
In 138 career games, Lake earned 25-36—61 totals.
The Aces have announced 13 players as signed or secured for the upcoming season.
