The Seattle Seahawks claimed Anchorage’s Brandon Pili off waivers on Monday, the team announced.
Pili, a second-year nose tackle, was waived by the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. Pili, who played at Dimond High and USC, was initially signed by the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent before the 2023-24 season.
Pili, 25, appeared in 12 games over the past two seasons with the Dolphins, recording four tackles. At USC, Pili appeared in 52 games, recording 74 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
At 6-foot-3 and 319 pounds, Pili played 10 snaps on defense and one on special teams in the Dolphins’ 30-27 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9 on Nov. 3.
As a corresponding move, the Seahawks placed safety K’Von Wallace on injured reserve to make room on the 53-man roster.
