Wolverines down Ice Dogs in exhibition game

The Anchorage Wolverines defeated the Fairbanks Ice Dogs 6-3 in a North American Hockey League exhibition game Monday at the Royal Business Systems Ice Center.

Anchorage got two goals from Cameron Morris and a goal each from Cooper Morris, Skylar Gutierrez, Jackson Reineke and Colton Friesen.

The Ice Dogs got goals from Tyler Herzberg, Nolan Cunningham and Alexander Malinowski.

Wolverines goaltender Shane Soderwall stopped 23 shots in the win while Ice Dogs goalie Ryan Keyes made 38 saves.
