Here are of our favorite photos from this year’s Mount Marathon races in Seward by ADN photographer Marc Lester.

Women and men’s races went off as in a normal Mount Marathon 4th of July event, but the junior’s race was canceled due to high levels of smoke, from the nearby Swan Lake Fire. The air cleared somewhat throughout the day in Seward, but the temperature climbed.
