Saturday produced some feel-good moments on Anchorage football fields.
At East High, the grand opening of the school's stadium doubled as a reunion for former coach Bruce Shearer and many of the players from the school's three-time state championship teams from the mid-80s.
At Eagle River, the Wolves used a late field goal to rally past Barrow for their first win since 2013.
The good times extended to Fairbank teams too. At Service High, Lathrop became the second Fairbanks team this weekend to leave Anchorage with a victory.
