Kindergartners march to end the school year

About 80 kindergarten students at Scenic Park Elementary School celebrated the end of the school year Wednesday with a parade for parents and other students.

It was the last day of the academic school year in the Anchorage School District. Students dressed in octopus hats for the "under the sea" themed event and walked around the perimeter of the school.

The parade has been a kindergarten tradition for about eight years, according to teacher Wendy Roberts.
