People gathered at a Human Rights Day Vigil on the Delaney Park Strip in Anchorage on Saturday. The event sponsored by the Alaska Institute for Justice featured a candlelight vigil, music and speakers talking about the basic human rights that everyone shares.

Bob Hallinen has been a photojournalist in Alaska since the 1980s and has traveled extensively all over the state. He retired from the ADN in November 2018 after 33 years at the newspaper.
