The Anchorage Skijor Club hosted a 5-kilometer race on the Hillside Ski Trails on Tuesday evening, March 20, 2018. The Hillside Skiquinox drew about 25 racers in both one-dog and two-dog classes. The event started near the Hilltop Ski Area parking lot and used the Double Bubble and Besh Loops. Club board member Jesika Reimer said they obtained a permit for the use of dogs on the ski trails for the day to host the event.
