The audience for the first night of Quyana Alaska filled the ballroom at the Dena'ina Convention Center on Thursday evening, October 19, 2017. The annual two-night cultural gathering featured Alaska Native dance groups from several traditions. Quyana Alaska has been part of the Alaska Federation of Natives annual convention for 35 years. It continues Friday evening.
