While shoppers will swarm the aisles of big box stores for Black Friday, don't forget to check out local businesses for doorbuster deals. Here are a few shops to check out during your early shopping excursion:
While Her Tern items are often pricey, I've found some great bargains during their sale events (Hunter rain boots that were 50 percent off, for instance). Customers who shop between 9 a.m. and noon will receive 26 percent off their entire purchase and be entered to win a $150 gift card to Her Tern. If you miss the early rush, shoppers will receive 26 percent off any one item between noon to 6 p.m.
Like Her Tern, Boutique Blush is offering Black Friday deals for the downtown shopper. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., every item in the store will be 25 percent off, with an additional 25 percent off on sale merchandise. I drool over the collection of Hammitt leather bags each time I glance inside the store, which makes the doorbuster deal a tempting reason to shop early.
Lulu E. Bebe carries an assortment of cocktail dresses, denim and accessories. The boutique will be open for extended hours on Friday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Check out doorbuster deals from 9 a.m. to noon, in addition to sale specials throughout the day. Lulu's sophisticated sister store, Cosette, will also be offering sales on Friday.
Bella Boutique will be open Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Located in Spenard, Bella offers a variety of handcrafted jewelry and accessories from local artists and from the Lower 48. The first 10 customers who shop at Bella on Friday will receive a goody bag.
