After catching just a single silver salmon in two hours Sunday along the Fish River near White Mountain in Western Alaska, Andrew Harrelson decided to look for woolly mammoth tusks at a muddy bend in the river where villagers had previously found fossil mammoth teeth and where, 22 years earlier, his mother had found a full mammoth tusk.
It didn't take Harrelson long to find another.
Word of Harrelson's discovery has quickly spread, and prospective buyers are ringing his cellphone, he said.
