More than 50 cars participated in a convoy-style rally Saturday in support of President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.
The rally, which drove from the Anchorage Cabela’s store to the Wasilla VFW hall, was one of a number of events held nationwide, organizer JoAnna Potter said. Another convoy took place last month.
Participants gathered briefly to hear remarks from Anchorage mayoral candidate Dave Bronson, who denounced a “deep state” that he said is attacking the president.
