Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy is announcing his line-item vetoes to the state budget at 3 p.m. Thursday in a press conference. Office of Management and Budget Director Neil Steininger will also be in attendance.
Dunleavy quietly signed Alaska’s multibillion-dollar state budget into law Wednesday, eliminating the possibility of statewide government shutdown, but said he would release his line-item vetoes Thursday.
