"I'm going for it. But going for it in this race might mean pacing yourself just right," Seavey said.
"I have a little bit of a lead I think, I might even give that up a little bit and rest somewhere along here. When you get to the (Bering Sea) coast, if you're within striking range, he who has the best team wins. And Dallas has shown that many times coming from quite a ways back."
