The late-season surge of silver salmon to Mat-Su waterways allowed the Alaska Department of Fish and Game on Tuesday to double the limit in Susitna River Drainage waterways to four per day, eight in possession.
No more than three of the four fish may be pink, chum or red salmon.
Not affected by the expanded bag limit are streams in the Knik Arm area including the Little Susitna River, Eklutna Tailrace, Jim, Cottonwood, Fish and Wasilla creeks.
