Letter: Where is Sullivan’s courage?

The day after the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan told the Anchorage Daily News that the “rioters” needed “to be fully prosecuted to the extent of the law.” Now that President Donald Trump has pardoned those rioters — including those convicted of violently assaulting the police officers who managed to defend Dan Sullivan and other legislators — his only comment is that “I need to read the order first.” Our junior senator has again failed to show a hint of courage or a spark of character.
