Letter: Dumb, dumber

The great philosopher Mr. Whitekeys says if an Alaskan can do something dumb, another Alaskan will do something dumber. An example is the Municipal Assembly’s recent decision to check ID’s at restaurants and bars before serving beer or cocktails.

Our state is very strict about serving underage consumers and liquor stores always check for the scarlet letter on driver’s licenses.So why would the Muni add another layer of scrutiny? It’s DUMB.
