Letter: Parking in downtown Anchorage is a problem

I saw a story about Moose A’La Mode Cafe in downtown Anchorage closing due to low customer traffic. I went downtown this week for lunch, parked, and fed the parking meter. I was delayed and came back to my car a little late. I got a parking ticket for $20. That’s right: TWENTY DOLLARS. It’ll be a long time before I go back downtown for any reason.
