I was having problems with some Social Security paperwork that had seemed to hit a logjam. My wife passed away in February and my paperwork kept getting delayed. Social Security’s estimate for the processing time is “approximately 60 days.” After four months, I contacted the offices of Sen. Dan Sullivan, Sen.
Lisa Murkowski and Rep. Mary Peltola. I heard from Sullivan’s office almost immediately, and they proceeded to contact the Social Security office. My paperwork was approved within about a week.
I didn’t hear from Murkowski’s or Peltola’s office until after it was all handled.
Thank you, Sen. Sullivan.
