Letters to the Editor

Letter: An ugly campaign

I don’t think anything more can be said about Donald Trump, other than to point out that he continues to layer it on. Immigrants eating dogs and cats in Springfield, Ohio?

Venezuelan gangs taking over Aurora, Colorado?

The apparently impressive size of Arnold Palmer’s genitalia? Trump being the “father of IVF?” Disparaging Detroit (my birthplace) while speaking at a meeting of the Detroit Economic Club? The list goes on.

But if that is not enough, Republicans are now trying to flagrantly and literally buy votes via petition giveaways. They must really be getting desperate. Good old boy and richest man in the world and Trump sycophant Elon Musk is now offering $1 million a day to the lucky winner of a daily lottery open to those who sign a petition supporting the Constitution and the Second Amendment. Really? Is this even legal? Even if it is, it’s sickening.
