It’s too bad that Gary (or Mary, as it turned out), an aging dog in need of aid, was left to wander haplessly in dangerous traffic until she was hit and killed by a vehicle. Why no one stepped up to help her is a sad commentary. May we do better in the future. Rest in peace, Mary.
