Letter: School funding veto

I was pleased to see the recent article about the role that the failed vote to override Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s veto of the education funding bill is playing in this year’s election. The legislators who reached a legislative compromise, but then lacked the backbone to stand up for their decision don’t deserve support. Legislators like Julie Coulombe and Craig Johnson failed our children.

I did find the ADN’s description of Americans for Prosperity inadequate, though. It’s a right-wing group, founded and funded by the Koch brothers. It’s the epitome of outside funding.
