The deadline for registering to vote in Alaska is Sunday, Oct. 6. If you haven’t already registered to vote, now is the time. Also, if you have had a change in your name or address since you last voted, now is the time to update your information. It is easy and fast; go to voterregistration.alaska.gov.
You can also check your registration status at that website to make sure it is correct. That literally takes 30 seconds.
We have a very important election coming up on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with an opportunity to vote for state legislators, our U.S. representative and the next president of the United States. Also, there are two important propositions on that ballot.
