Letter: Assembly arrogance

We’ve seen it all before. The Assembly says one thing and then does another. One example is the use of the Golden Lion.

Then, after voters turned down the public toilet proposal, the Assembly is now trying to take a different approach to selling it.

Now they say that Airbnbs and VRBOs need to share restricted data of their platforms. Not to worry, they say, this data won’t be used to control what people can and should be able to do with their properties. Nonsense, I say: The Assembly is moving toward governing what we can do as homeowners.
