Letters to the Editor

Letter: Ground rules

If a professional football team enters a game, it is obliged to accept the official score. If it declines to do so, there is no real reason to have a game.

If a candidate for public office will not unequivocally agree to accept the results of an election, they should be stricken from the ballot. Otherwise, if the people’s verdict is ignored, there is no reason to have an election.
