Letter: Nick Moe is a strong leader

As a local Anchorage business owner, homeowner, and mother of two young daughters, I deeply value the importance of strong leadership in our community. That’s why I am proud to support Nick Moe in his candidacy for State House in West Anchorage. With his deep Alaskan roots, extensive public service experience, and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact, Nick is the leader we need to tackle the challenges facing our state.

During the most recent legislative session, Nick Moe wrote an amendment, implemented and fought for significant funding for educational initiatives that will benefit children across Alaska, highlighting his commitment to the future of our state. Additionally, he played a key role in the legalization of cannabis in Alaska, demonstrating his steadfast support for individual freedoms and his belief that, together, we can effect meaningful change.

Nick isn’t just about promises; he follows through with concrete actions that make a difference in our lives. In contrast, his opponent, Carolyn Hall, has a connection to a media outlet known to target progressive women. This raises concerns about her ability to stand firm in her convictions and effectively represent the interests of her constituents. When leadership was needed most, she did not rise to the occasion. Given the stakes, we need a representative who is not only capable but also willing to take decisive action for the betterment of our community.

Nick Moe embodies the qualities of a true leader — someone who listens, acts, and delivers. I encourage you to join me in supporting Nick Moe as we work together to create a brighter future for all Alaskans.
