I drive downtown most days, and when I head down 6th Avenue, I don’t miss that left lane one bit. Is it filled to the brim with bikers? Nope. Not yet. But I think we need to give it some time to convince people of the commitment we are making to safe bicycle routes.
And in the meantime, even though I drive a car and don’t commute by bike, I’m happy to share the road.
