The current proposal for a municipal sales tax seems like a regressive tax with obscure benefits. Why not dedicate a sales tax to Anchorage public schools with the funds administered by a foundation run by education professionals? Let’s build a bridge to the future for our children, rather than another bridge to nowhere with our politicians.
