Letters to the Editor

Letter: Reality vs. image

Just a thought about President Joe Biden’s “poor performance” in the debates. There are both young and old people who are imperfect, who can not remember names and faces but have good hearts and sound judgment. America is the entertainment capital of the world and worships good “actors” who show confidence and no sign of weakness. This is why we need Mr. Trump to show us the folly of our ways.

As both an actor and a person of age, I encourage people to look past illusions and imperfections and to own our fears of growing old and appearing weak. The growing into a real person is the ultimate challenge. Few of us are up to it, and yet we continue to try. Please vote for a real person, not for reality TV.
