There appears to be some controversy regarding dandelions. A recent letter writer encouraged trying to eliminate them. First off, we all know that is darn well impossible. Second, he suggested using products with harsh chemicals, which is totally unacceptable.
I have dogs, and I certainly don’t want them running around in chemicals — and I have respect for my neighbors.
I have come to accept dandelions and appreciate the color they add to my meadow. Also, I have bees and they like the dandelions.
