Thank you to the Anchorage Concert Association, R&B live musicians, Anchorage Park Foundation, Kaladi Brothers Coffee and Eastridge condo residents who were tolerant of street-side parking and commotion in their neighborhood last Thursday for the first concert in this summer’s outdoor series, held at Sitka Street Park.
Events like these bring people together in an otherwise increasingly polarizing world. And shame on the Municipality of Anchorage for being unwilling to open the gate and allow parking on the empty snow storage lot across the street for this onetime event.
