After reading Roger Marks’ column in Sunday’s paper, I’m convinced that only the Legislature can save us from gas line fever.
What’s needed is a special session to pass a bill requiring that anyone writing or uttering the phrase “North Slope gas line” in a favorable context be committed to a Home for the Bewildered until the fever passes.
Once the Cuckoo Caucus is thus limited to talking to itself, the rest of us can begin a serious conversation about solving our energy problems.
