Letter: Hamas vs. Israel

This is in response to Mr. Sonin’s letter appearing in the June 5 edition of the ADN in which he used erudite language and sesquipedalian words to say — nothing. The Palestinians are Hamas, and their stated goal is the elimination of Israel. The rest of the Middle East countries use the Palestinians as proxies to eliminate Israel.

The Palestinians have a country and have used it to launch rockets into Israel essentially since Israel was created. Israel is rooting out the people who are overtly trying to eliminate them and conducting the war to minimize civilian casualties. It would be more efficient for Israel to conduct the war like the Allies did against Germany and Japan in World War II, but they aren’t. It is false to state that the Israelis are committing genocide.
