Letter: Date kerfuffle

I never thought I’d say this, but I have to agree with the Biden White House on his proclamation of Easter Sunday as Transgender Awareness Day. The Awareness Day is a fixed date. Easter moves around. They coincided this year, but did not last year and will not next year.

Debate the issue if you want. For the record, I support being transgender just as much as I support losing 100 pounds, having tummy tucks or breast augments, and dying your hair to change how you look in a mirror. I may draw the line on irreversible surgery on an eight-year-old. This is completely separate from Easter, and Joe Biden did not insult anyone by marking the date.
