Letter: Plowing travails

My wife and I couldn’t help but smile at each other the other night when we were driving through Boise and seeing the first snowflakes of the winter falling, quickly followed by a big snowplow. We both knew what each other was thinking, as we’ve kept up with Anchorage happenings with the ADN.

After 45 years in Alaska, we both still love snow and winter, but I gotta admit that I don’t miss the mess of Anchorage roads, and the last two “snowmaggedons.” It’s true, Alaska: You gotta be tough to be an Alaskan!
