As I decorated my Christmas tree with all the memories from when my kids were little and in school, the little felt candy canes with sparkles on them, the Christmas bulbs with glitter, I thought about what care the teachers took to help these little kids make these memories.
What a gift after all these years — my kids are 58 and 59. Thank you, teachers — you have given me so much joy.
